The Kenya Pavilion in Osaka, Japan experienced a moment nothing short of magical. The air was filled with excitement and inspiration as we had the distinct honour of welcoming Mr. Sosuke Fujimoto, the brilliant architect behind the Osaka Japan Expo and the creative mind responsible for the Grand Ring, celebrated globally as the world’s greatest wooden structure.

But the day’s highlight didn’t stop there. Mr. Fujimoto arrived in the company of an extraordinary delegation from Higashi Kagura Town, Hokkaido, 20 bright elementary school students, 10 dedicated teachers, and esteemed town officials.

The visit was more than a courtesy call; it was a beautiful meeting of cultures, generations, and ideas. The young learners, wide-eyed with curiosity, had the opportunity to explore Kenya’s vibrant showcase at the pavilion, discovering our rich heritage, innovative spirit, and boundless creativity. In turn, they brought with them fresh perspectives and the energy of a future generation ready to shape a better world.
